Ilkley Carnival
4 May 2009
East Holmes Field, Ilkley
The Carnival machine is once again gearing up for a family fun day out. Usually the first major event of the year in Ilkley we will hopefully be blessed with good weather.
The chosen theme for 2009 is 'Mystery & Imagination'' which should provide much scope and colour in the parade.
Over the last 22 years the carnival has raised money that has been given back to the community to help fund local projects, organisations, sports clubs and help enhance local facilities for everyone.
Every year we are lucky enough to get a fantastic response from local clubs and organisations that help on the day is invaluable and without that help the carnival wouldn't be possible.
Please support this wonderful local event. Ilkley's May Day Carnival really has become an important date for thousands of people and with your help we will be able to make another beneficial year for good causes.
