Bingley Music Live launched itself onto the festival scene last year offering music fans two days of incredible live music. Shortlisted in the 2007 Best New Festival category of Virtual Festivals awards Bingley Music Live saw headliners and indie legends The Charlatans with support from nationally acclaimed newcomers The Twang. The Dead 60’s, Milburn, From the Jam and The Bluetones. The event, which attracted over 15,000 over the two days, also showcased the best in emerging local talent such as White Light Parade and Scars on 45.

Spring Flower Walk

Meet at the Cliffe Wood Avenue Car Park – off Bradford Road near the Branch Pub. The walk will last for about 2 hours and will be led by a local botanist. There is no need to pre book, just turn up on the day. Suitable off road footwear is recommended.
Dawn Chorus Walk
18 May 4.30am
Meet at the upper end of Lynton Drive by the woods. Lynton Drive is off Springswood Road, off Bradford Road. The walk will last for about one hour and will be led by a local expert. Binoculars will not be provided so bringing your own is recommended as is suitable clothing and footwear. There is no need to pre book, just turn up on the day.
Northcliffe (Rae) Gala

The nearest entrance to the Gala is from the Cliffe Woods Avenue Car Park off Bradford Road.

Saltaire Festival Gala

On the last weekend of the ever-successful Saltaire Festival the Gala and Market weekend attracted over 40,000 visitors to the World Heritage Site. The gala features music, comedy and entertainment for the whole family, as well as an extension to the popular continental market running in the village throughout the day.
The Friends of Roberts Park will be returning to the gala with their successful Garden Festival showcasing the best in local environmental and ecological products and services.
