Love Parks Week
Love Parks Week celebrates parks as free places for children to exercise with events in parks around the country and raises awareness of the vital role that parks and green spaces play in communities across Britain.
In celebration of the event and to help promote parks, walking and healthy eating a series of events have been programmed for Love Parks Week 14 - 22 June 2008.
14 and 15 June
Bradford Mela - Peel Park, Bradford
Bradford Mela is one of the of the largest Melas in Europe and has been running since 1989. This makes it one of the oldest and most established. The event attracts in the region of 140,000 visitors over two days, all wanting to experiences the sights, sounds and flavours of the world.
