The Roberts Park tour has been commissioned so that it can provide an accurate comparison of what that park was like prior to its planned restoration.

Big fun for youngsters in £1.4m play programme

Bradford Council’s District Play Partnership have successfully secured funding with its 'Bradford's All To Play For' bid to the Big Lottery Fund.
A total of £1,4 million will be provided by the Big Lottery Fund to be spent over the next two years on projects to improve play provision across the district.
The Parks Service have been allocated some of this funding along with other external funding to deliver projects where gaps in play provision have been indentified.
Working with children and young people, local communites and other partners, the Parks Service are hoping to delivery the following projects over the next 2 years :-
New Play Area – on Cullingworth Recreation Ground in partnership with the Parish Council and local children
Play Provision for Disabled Children - new play equipment to enable all children to access play in 5 locations, one in each constituency.
Adventure Play Area – new exciting and challenging play equipment for all ages in a woodland setting at St Ives Estate, Bingley
Skateparks – 3 new skateparks are planned in Keighley, Bingley and Harden
Multi Activity Community Area – new all weather activity area on Oxenhope Recreation Ground
Play Space – new ‘conceptual’ natural play space in Holmewood

Keighley 10K Run

The Parks and Landscape Service are proud to be supporting the Big K 10K run around Keighley on 16th March 2008. The route will take in all four of Keighley's parks, starting and finishing at Victoria Park. More details on the event and entry forms can be found at www.sportkeighley.com
Myrtle Park Play Area Now Open

The Parks and Landscape Service are pleased to announce that the £106,000 refurbishment and relocation of Myrtle Park Play Area is now complete. The project has been funded from local section 106 contributions and a grant from WREN landfill tax credits.
£106,000 scheme designed with help from Myrtle Park Primary School.
Accessible roundabout for all.
Huge space net with tube slide.
