Nursery

Peel Park Nursery in Bradford produces over seven hundred thousand bedding plants and over four hundred and fifty hanging baskets per year, for the Council's floral displays.

Wibsey Nursery in Wibsey Park is run as a sheltered workplace for staff with special needs. It produces a large range of shrubs used in Council planting schemes across the district.

Wibsey Nursery is open to the public every weekday afternoon for the sale of surplus stock at trade prices.

Peel Park Nursery sells excess stock in a plant sale twice a year. The nursery also has an established floristry service which provides flowers and planter maintenance for the Council, other businesses and organisations and the general public. The service can do flowers for weddings, business events and funerals.

Guided tours are also available for schools and clubs.
