Park Ranger outside Cartwright Hall

Park Ranger Service

There are fifteen full-time Park Rangers who provide a highly visible service across the district, ensuring the safe use of Bradford’s parks, woodlands, cemeteries and open spaces.

The rangers tour the district, ensuring the parks stay clean and free of litter and acting as a first point of contact for local people.

The Park Ranger Service carries out enforcement action in areas such as the Dogs (fouling of land) Act, to ensure that dog owners do not allow their animals to foul the parks and green spaces.

Park Rangers also give talks to schools and other youth organisations.
