Horton Park is a large leafy park with some beautiful gardens and a modern play area. Come and feed the ducks at the pond, or relax under one of the tall trees.

Access
There is level access via the Horton Park Avenue entrance, suitable for pedestrians and the majority of manual and electric wheelchairs. Authorised vehicle access only.
Directions
By car
Approximately 1.2 miles from Bradford City Centre, follow the A647 Great Horton Road, turn left into Horton Park Avenue, the entrance to the park is on the right.
By bus
Several bus routes go up Great Horton Road or Horton Park Avenue and stop near Horton Park, including 576, 610, 611, 612, 613, 614, 619, MC3. For bus timetable information contact Metro on 0113 2457676 or www.wymetro.com
Facilities
Car Park
Parking is limited by the main entrance but there is ample parking on Horton Park Avenue and Powell Avenue.
Fenced in Play Area
Free to use, open 24 hours. No entry allowed to persons over 14 unless supervising a child.
Bowls
Open 1 - 5pm from April until September. Anyone can use the bowling green. You pay your bowls fee onsite at the bowls hut. You can also hire equipment here for a deposit of £5. Standard charges apply. Booking the green is recommended - Contact Simon Drake (Area Parks Manager) on 01274 431564 for further details. If you are interested in joining the bowls club you can contact Simon for further information.
Walks
There is a circular walk of approximately 1.4km, benches and litter bins and information boards situated by the entrances.
Lake
There is a small lake with a surrounding footpath.
