Myrtle Park has something to offer to everyone. From the new and top-class skate park, to the aviary with entertaining parakeets, this large and beautiful park is well worth taking the time to explore. Why not come and sit by the river for an hour or two - and bring a picnic? Host to the flagship Bingley Music Live, Myrtle Park is big and beautiful.

All Bradford District Parks are open 365 days a year, 24 hours.
A footpath surrounds the park which is accessible to all. There is level access from the main road.
Myrtle Park is a located centrally in Bingley. From Main Street follow Myrtle Place. The park entrance is by Bingley swimming baths.
Several buses including the 662, 619, 622 and 760 stop on the main street in Bingley, which is only a short walk from the park. For bus timetable information contact Metro on 0113 2457676 or www.wymetro.com

Open in the afternoons from April until September. Anyone can use the bowling green. You pay your bowls fee onsite at the bowls hut which is run by the Bowls Club. Standard charges apply. Booking the green is recommended - Contact Malcolm Wright (Area Parks Manager) on 01274 437028 for further details. If you are interested in joining the bowls club you can contact Malcolm for further information.
Equipment can be hired from the bowls club when it is open in the afternoon. Standard charges apply. If the bowls hut is shut and the courts are not in use by the tennis club, anyone can play for free. For more information, contact Malcolm Wright (Area Parks Manager) on 01274 437028.
Myrtle Park contains some beautifully stocked flower gardens throughout the park.

A river meanders through the park and fishing is available on it.
Fishing licenses can be obtained from local fishing and tackle shops. More information about rates and regulations can be found on Bingley Angling Club’s website.
Bingley Show venue
The Bingley Show is an agricultural show that comes annually to Myrtle Park. There is more information on The Bingley Show website, or you can ring them on 01274 564400 (open most Wednesday’s 9.30am - 1pm), or you can email the organisers firstname.lastname@example.org
Bingley Music Live
An extremely reasonably priced live music festival organised by the Parks events team and held on the first weekend in September. More information can be found on the Bingley Music Live website, or call the events team on 01274 433828.
