Russell Hall Park

Russell Hall Park is a small community park, with a playpark and bowling green for people of all ages to enjoy, as well as enough room for a kickabout or a game of rounders.

Access

Russell Hall Park is accessible from Russell Avenue. Wheelchair friendly paths connect to the play area and Bowls pavilion.

Directions

By Car

From the city centre follow Little Horton Lane, turn right onto Horton Park Avenue then left onto the A647 Great Horton Road. Keep left as the road name changes to Highgate Road, then High Street in Queensbury. Turn left down Russell Hall Avenue.

By Bus

Bus number 576 from Bradford city centre departs approximately every 15 minutes and stops outside Russell Hall Park. For bus timetable information contact Metro on 0113 2457676 or www.wymetro.com.

Facilities

Fenced in Play Area

Free to use, open 24 hours. No entry allowed to persons over 14 unless supervising a child.

Multi Activity Community Area

Free to use, open 24 hours. Area includes: 5-a-side, Basketball, Cricket.

Bowls

Open 10.00-16.00, Tuesday – Sunday, April - October. Anyone can use the bowling green. You pay your bowls fee onsite at the bowls hut which is run by the Bowls Club. Standard charges apply. If you are interested in joining the bowls club please contact them direct.
