Victoria Park, Clayton, is a cosy local park with plenty to offer to the whole family. Come and relax on the lawns, or pick up the pace with a game of basketball or five-a-side.

Opening times

All Bradford District Parks are open 365 days a year, 24 hours.

Access

A footpath surrounds the park which is accessible to all and suitable for pedestrians and the majority of manual and electric wheelchairs. There is parking available on the roads that surround the park.

Directions

By car

Approximately 3.5 miles from Bradford City Centre. From Thornton Road, turn off onto Listerhills Road. This turns into Legrams Lane, then Clayton Road, then Bradford Road. Turn off onto Clayton Lane, the park is on the left hand side.

By bus

Take bus route 637 towards Clayton from Bradford City Centre. For bus timetable information contact Metro on 0113 2457676 or www.wymetro.com

Facilities

Fenced in Play Area

Free to use, open 24 hours. No entry allowed to persons over 14 unless supervising a child.

Bowls

Open 1 - 5pm from April until September. Anyone can use the bowling green. You pay your bowls fee onsite at the bowls hut. You can also hire equipment here for a deposit of £5. Standard charges apply. Booking the green is recommended  If you are interested in joining the bowls club please contact them direct. 

Multi Activity Community Area

Free to use, open 24 hours. Area includes: 5-a-side, Basketball, Cricket.

Walks

There is a small circular walk of approximately 330m, benches, litter bins, picnic benches and information boards situated by the entrances.

Cenotaph

Lay poppy wreathes for Remembrance Sunday.
