Wibsey Park has something for everyone, from tree lined walks, to a lovely little lake, an aviary to numerous sports pitches. Come down and get involved in your local park, whether you enjoy a game of bowls or a game of basketball.

Wibsey Park, Beacon Road, BD6
All Bradford District Parks are open 365 days a year, 24 hours.
There is access to Wibsey Park from the surrounding roads - Beacon Road, Reevey Road and Wibsey Park Avenue. There are wheelchair friendly paths throughout the park, although access to some of the sports pitches is across rough grass.
From Bradford city centre follow Great Horton Road. After just under a mile and a half, turn left onto Pickles Lane. Cross Poplar Grove onto Beldon Lane, then left onto Beacon Road. Wibsey Park is on your right.
Several buses from Bradford City Centre stop near Wibsey Park, including the 614, 640, 641, 645. For bus timetable information contact Metro on 0113 2457676 or www.wymetro.com.
Fenced in Play Area
Free to use, open 24 hours. No entry allowed to persons over 14 unless supervising a child.
Multi Activity Community Area
Free to use, open 24 hours. Area includes: 5-a-side, Basketball, Cricket.
Open 10.00-16.00, Tuesday – Sunday, April - October. Anyone can use the bowling green. You pay your bowls fee onsite at the bowls hut which is run by the Bowls Club. Standard charges apply. If you are interested in joining the bowls club you please contact the club direct.
Free to use, open 24 hours
Open 24 hours. Free to use, but charges apply for club use. These pitches are let out to various teams. If you are interested in letting this pitch for club use please ring 01274 432663 for further information. Please be aware the pitches are probably booked up by teams on the weekend, and that a waiting list applies.
Anyone can use the tennis courts – just turn up and play. Standard charges apply.
There is a nice lake in the park with a path encircling it.
Open 24 hours, free of charge. Come and have a look at a variety of birds in the aviary.
